GEMMA COUSINS   Gemma has worked as a professional dancer for more than 10 years and is well renowned for her dedication and enthusiasm for her art.  As a dancer she loved the power her body held to move in challenging and creative ways.  Coming from an extremely competitive industry where there were immense highs but also knock backs and severe lows, she was constantly putting pressure on herself to always 'be the best'.  She found that yoga helped her to find calmness and stillness, allowing her to re-balance and find space not only in the physical body but also in the mind. Once she saw the benefits of practising this ancient art form it became an integral part of her life and she wants to share her experiences and newly found sensation of freedom with others, helping others to develop mindfulness and awareness of the body, mind and spirit, and to find strength and overcome personal barriers.  Living in today’s fast paced world, it is so important to take time to invest in one’s self. The benefits of practising yoga don't just stay on the mat, they come with you, helping to make everyday life flow more easily with control, calmness and an openness that will leave you wanting more.  Having practiced yoga herself for over 8 years, Gemma decided to go deeper into her practice and started training intensively, becoming an instructor in 2015. She loves to free her flow and encourages others to let go, find strength and enjoy the benefits of the yoga practice. It’s difficult not to be enticed by her contagious energy.  Her classes can be adapted and tailored to you, depending on personal goals or the need to focus on certain areas of the body. From a warming vinyasa flow, to headstands and inversions, or a restorative yin approach, Gemma's authenticity, attention to detail and compassion will give you the confidence to be brave, fierce, and feel the power that is already within you.  Using the breath to create a moving meditation, you will be able to free the mind to feel balanced and relaxed in your daily life. Practicing with Gemma will enable you to be something stronger than you thought you could be, both physically and mentally.  Gemma hopes to inspire you to be the best you can be, and to accept and embrace every single aspect of what that means.     ZOE SHINN   Zoe has always been extremely active and on the go, with a hobby as a child turning into a 12 year career as a professional dancer she has secured some incredible jobs and experiences. Those feelings of freedom to do what you love for a living meant it was always going to be a tough industry to leave behind. But like anything there's always the darker down moments of the job not knowing what was coming next, or when she would work again.   This made her feel like she could never live in the present moment and felt unsettled, unstable and full of angst.  Through down time was when the unveilment of yoga came to light. Attending classes became a regular thing and she could not believe the profound effect it had, it always ceased to amaze her how energised and uplifted it made her feel during and after the practise. How physically demanding it could be & more importantly how mentally & spiritually these benefits of yoga impacted on her and gave her the ability to think clearer, to let go and really be in the present.   It was so good In fact, that this path was indeed the beginning of a new and exciting chapter, with a lot of hard work and dedication she became qualified as a yoga Teacher in 2015  Her classes can be catered to your needs and whether you are a beginner stepping on to the mat or have experience, you can trust her ability to structure the class to your needs and level.  She loves to let you explore your abilities and to help you reach your potential thus allowing your confidence to grow. Yoga is for everyone and it does not matter if things are not perfect. Your practise is time to feel alive, loved and free.  So whether you prefer a powerful and dynamic vinyasa flow to warm and strengthen, perhaps face your fears or relive your childhood days by going upside down with inversions such as handstands or headstands, learn how to balance on your hands in many hand balances. Or maybe you’d like to find a calmer, lighter flow with a yin style approach to find length, improve flexibility and bring calmness to your body and mind. All classes finish with a meditation to help you to find a peacefulness and bring an inner calm to your day.  Yoga has taught Zoe self discipline, forgiveness, patience and most importantly being present. She encourages others to take a deep breath in, hold it briefly and  let it go ‘Every day is a fresh new start"  This practise is truly rewarding, a journey that never ends but continues to blossom.   When you allow your body - mind- soul to connect you find Balance which will reflect positively on your everyday health, lifestyle and well being.   X NAMASTE X
